Part Time Student Support Teacher Clerk

The Pittsford Central School District is seeking an Office Clerk III part-time Student Support Teacher Clerk for Park Road. The successful candidate's work schedule (hours and days) will be agreed upon by the candidate and the building administration. This is a 10-month position. The Student Support Teacher Clerk will be responsible for the independent performance of clerical duties and requires a moderate degree of decision-making. The use of a personal computer for word processing and database entry and manipulation is an integral part of this position. The work is performed in accordance with well-defined objectives, policies and procedures, but detailed instructions are given for new or difficult assignments. The work is typically submitted in its final form and is subject to general review by superiors. The successful candidate will perform related work as required and should possess or be able to acquire IEP Direct skills. Candidate should possess the title of Office Clerk III or meet the minium requirements to accept the job and sit for the Office Clerk III exam when the test is next administered.  

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: (All need not be done in a given position. Other related activities may be performed although not listed.)

  • Prepare and format legal documents, certifications, authorizations, forms, and other related paperwork
  • Maintain, enter and extract data and information from databases
  • Post and maintain moderately difficult records requiring general knowledge of inclusive education requirements
  • Process documents in a timely manner
  • Type materials from copy, rough draft, or other instruction
  • Prepare and type correspondence on matters where policy and procedures are well-defined
  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Compile, prepare, type, and review data for completeness and accuracy
  • Perform searches for information in documents, records, files, and computer databases
  • Obtain and give out information by telephone, correspondence, or in person
  • Operate standard office machines such as a computer, copier, and fax machines

School Nurse

The Pittsford Central School District is seeking a School Nurse at Park Road Elementary for the rest of the 2025-2026. The location for the 2026-2027 school year is subject to change based on the internal posting process. The successful candidate will work 7.5 hours a day and the prorated remaining days of the normal 198 work days as a 10-month employee. This is a professional nursing position which involves providing emergency first aid treatment, performing screening/testing procedures, maintaining medical records and acting as a resource person in disseminating health-related information to students, parents, administrators and the faculty. This employee works under the general supervision of, and reports directly to, the Director of Student Services. 

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: May include but not limited to:

  • Maintain and update cumulative health records for all students in the building, including immunization data
  • Conduct pertinent and relevant health, hearing, and vision screening and assists in physical examinations
  • Participate in an intervention program for recurring illness and other health related problems
  • Evaluate school-related injuries and complete district insurance forms
  • Provide first aid and emergency treatment of injuries and illness of students and faculty
  • Advise parents on student needs or for additional medical attention
  • Dispense medication as ordered by a physician and requested by a parent in accordance with New York State Law
  • Order, inventory and oversee the storage of first aid and related health supplies and equipment
  • Act as a liaison between physicians, faculty, students and parents when there is a health problem
  • Maybe a member of a building or district health support team(s) 
Min $28.96-$31.00/hr. + benefits
