JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE:  Summer Grounds Helper

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Head of Grounds

DURATION: Seasonal/Summer, 30+ hours per week

COMPENSATION: Minimum Wage plus $.10 and $.10 each consecutive year of working in the same position 

CERTIFICATION: None- Must be 18 years or older

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

At Pittsford Schools, we pride ourselves on maintaining a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our students, staff, and families. As we prepare for the busy summer season, we are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as a Summer Grounds Helper.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

As a Summer Grounds Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our grounds. Working under the supervision of our groundskeeping team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Grounds Maintenance with Landscaping Support
  2. Trash Removal
  3. Equipment Operation
  4. Assisting with Special Projects
  5. Safety Compliance
  6. Communication       


 

Minimum $15.10/hr.
