Physical TherapistPT 2025

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time probationary position for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Evaluate, plan, program and provide physical therapy services for students with disabilities, ages 5 to 21 years old. 

  • Development and implementation of IEP annual goals and objectives based on each student's needs or 504 accommodation plans. 

  • Delivery of on-going physical therapy services within program assignment in collaboration with parents, teachers, other school professionals, and appropriate community agencies/services. 

  • Participation in school/building/program team meetings. 

  • Participate in Committee on Special Education meetings as necessary. 

  • Provide thorough and timely reporting of student progress. 

  • Implementation of various service delivery models: individual, small group, integrative classroom, RtI/MTSS, etc. 

  • Establish and maintain a daily schedule. 

  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with school professionals, parents, students, and fellow colleagues within OT/PT Department.  

  • Attend departmental and program assignment meetings. 

  • Preparation of CSE packets as required by assignment. 

  • Comply with PCSD policies. 

  • Possible staff development for OT/PT Department and/or clinical education of OT students. 

  • Supervision of Certified Physical Therapist Assistants. 

  • Maintain licensure through ongoing professional education. 

  • Complete daily documentation that complies with NYSED and Medicaid requirements. 

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education.

Elementary Level Building Substitute Teacher 2024-2025 School Year

The Pittsford Central School District is seeking Elementary level building substitute teachers for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. As a substitute teacher, your job duties may include, but not be limited to; following the plans created by the classroom teacher, working collaboratively with other adults that may be present in the room, monitoring student behavior and fostering a safe, positive, affirming, and welcoming learning environment.

Your work schedule may vary depending on the assignment, but the school day consists of the times outlined above.
