Job Description

Extended School Year Classes – Special Education

Dates:           July 6 – August 14, 2026

Hours:           Generally 6.5 hours per day, but hours may vary according to the individual student needs (8:00 am – 2:30 pm)

Available Positions:

• Special Ed. Teachers
• School Nurses (RN or SNT)
• Teachers of Speech & Hearing
• Adaptive Physical Education Teachers
• Behavior Specialists
• Assistant Administrator 

 

Job Qualifications

Must hold New York State Certficiation in appropriate area.

NOTE:  The ESY Program incorporates swimming, hiking and community based instruction as appropriate for students.  Staff is expected to participate in these activities as assigned.
