The Pittsford Central School District is seeking an educational leader to assume the role of Assistant Principal at Mendon High School. The successful candidate will serve as one of two deputy administrators to the High School Principal. As an educational leader, the successful candidate will be responsible, under the direction of the Principal, for supporting day-to-day operations and positively impacting each student's personal development and future success through maximizing academic performance, social-emotional learning and the creation and maintenance of a safe environment. This is a 12-month, probationary position.
Mendon High School serves approximately 1000 students in grades 9-12 and has a total staff of over 100. Consistently ranked as one of the top schools in New York State, Mendon High School is proud of the depth and breadth of opportunities it provides for students to learn and grow through academics, the arts and a wide range of extracurricular activities.
Start date: July 1, 2025, or as soon thereafter as reasonably possible.
Must hold a valid NYS Administrator’s Certification (SBL or SAS) and have administrative experience demonstrating a history of successful teaching/student support services and leadership within the school setting.
